EAST WENATCHEE — With a show named
“Mr. Dizzy’s Eve of Destruction,” pretty much
everyone at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval
Saturday night knew to expect metal carnage
of epic proportions.

But for a kid, maybe unfamiliar with the word
“destruction,” looking at a ramp and five cars
stacked pyramid-style on top of delivery vans,
he might be expecting a race car driver to
jump “over” the cars.

So when 27-year-old Josh Beckel raced up the
ramp and smashed his pink car into the tower
of junkers, Andrew Snyder, 8, of East
Wenatchee, feared the stunt had gone terribly
wrong.

cars at the “Mr. Dizzy’s Eve of Destruction” show Saturday
night at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval
That is, until the crowd went crazy with cheering, hooting and
hollering to indicate its approval of the mangled metal mess.

Snyder’s buddy, D.J. Jones, also had concerns after witnessing
the crash.

“I knew he had fuel in his tank and I thought it was going to blow. It
was really scary,” said Jones, 8, of East Wenatchee.

Once the boys realized that “destruction” was literally part of the
show, everything was cool.

This is the first time Mr. Dizzy’s show has come to the East
Wenatchee race track.

Michelle Munro, general manager for the track, said she had two
good reasons for booking the Monroe native for four shows this
racing season.

“One, he’s from Washington and I like promoting someone who’s
local,” she said. “And two, he’s got quite an impressive resume.”

Mike “Mr. Dizzy” Buse, 41, holds the Guinness World Record for
longest limousine jump — 107.6 feet.

Discovery Channel aired the feat, where Buse drove a limo over
the tops of three travel trailers. That jump and others can be
viewed at mrdizzy.com/Videos.

“I figured we better get him while we can,” she said.

Buse, who has been racing for years, said a friend’s dare got
him started in the stunt business. He said the man asked him to
jump a motorcycle over a school bus for a Fourth of July
fundraiser.

“But I suggested I drive a school bus over a bunch of
motorcycles,” Buse said. “I cleared the four motorcycles by 60
feet. Everybody just loved it.”

The daredevil in him went into overdrive and he developed more
jumps with names like the flaming auto dominoes, wall of fire,
motor home jump, jump of doom and Suburban towing a boat
jump.

“Everybody loves seeing something get smashed, no matter
what the economy,” he said. “If you can throw in some flames and
smoke, all the better.”

On Saturday, Buse had hoped to cap off the night of racing with his flaming auto domino jump, but
the wind was too strong.

He opted instead to drive up a ramp through a wall of fire and crash into a stack of four vehicles.
However, racing around the track to gain speed for the jump, one of his tires blew out.

Buse didn’t let the malfunction slow him down. He raced up the ramp, but the car tilted a bit to the left
because of the flat tire, clipping only the side of the stack, which flipped the car over and landed on
its roof.

Dizzy crawled out of the window, surviving another “Eve of Destruction.”

Costa Rica
Mr Dizzy Motorsports recently celebrated great success in Costa Rica.
The American Motor Legends Tour was an amazing fan pleasing show
and we are looking forward to performing again for the great fans in
Costa Rica.  We performed each day of the three day event. Mr Dizzy
Motorsports team member, the Crusher, performed the first stunt of the
night on Friday with a four car stack. He had little in-run throttle fully
pinned hit the second car and demolished the whole stack. Fans were
screaming and going crazy as the Crusher stepped out of the vehicle
unharmed and waved to the fans.  The explosive insanity continued
when Mr Dizzy performed the last stunt of the night, with a car domino.
He rocketed into to the first vehicle which happened to be an ambulance,
and knocked over the rest of the vehicles. It was a close call for Mr Dizzy
when the roof of his stunt car caved in, but he still managed to pull off an
unforgettable exit while burning out doing a donut. While the fans were
going insane, he climbed out of the car un-scratched and ready for
another day. Saturday, with things not going as planned the Crusher
performed a pyramid, knocked the whole pyramid over successfully, and
walked away unscathed once again.  On Sunday, team mate Dizzy JR,
performed his second jump of his career into a stack of cars, driving the
fans wild yet again. Over all Mr Dizzy Motorsports put on the best show
possible and left the fans wanting more as always.  We Love You Costa
Rica!!!
Mr Dizzy Motorsports began the 2011 U.S. stunt season with a bang
on April 9th, at Evergreen Speedway.  All three team members
performed (Mr Dizzy, Crusher, and Dizzy Jr).  Crusher started the
evening with a 100mph four car stack sending the top car for a
spinning crunch landing at least 30ft away from where Crusher
landed. The fans were ignited with excitement cheering
outrageously. The Crusher then raced and finished 1st place and
participated in a demolition derby finishing 3rd place.  Mr Dizzy and
Dizzy Jr performed the highly anticipated car explosion with an extra
bang for the crowd.  It was the fourth car explosion that the father
and son team have performed together.  Dizzy Jr wrapped up the
night with a suburban jump hauling an outhouse. He amazed fans,
and the entire Mr Dizzy team, by over shooting his trailer destination
and landed an outstanding 156ft from take off.  Another Successful
night for Mr Dizzy Motorsports, don’t forget to check out the new
video!!! Stay Dizzy
